East Bay Happy Hour - D'Angelo Style

Friday afternoon Olive and I picked up Nikos early from daycare and headed over to the D'Angelo house. We met up with Katie and Sarah and, after picking up some roadie margaritas, walked over to Alba's daycare to pick up Brooke and Marco. From there we headed over to the park to let the kids blow off some steam.

First up, the swings!

Nikos flies high after Sarah gives him an under-dog (...which I had to explain to Taki. Apparently he "played in the street" when he was little, not at the park. La dee da.)

After swings, slides and sand, we all walked back to the D'Angelo house to enjoy some delicious tacos.

Yes, horribly unflattering picture of me, but check out Nikos in the background. This is the reaction I get when I try to feed him rice and beans (and pretty much anything except eggs, cheese, mac & cheese and fruit.) No wonder he is only 23lbs 9oz!
