HAWAII...finally

At the end of August we went on one of the best vacations EVER. Seven days in Maui followed by ten days in Kauai. What? I know. We lucked out and flew over using free flights (everyone knows how addicted I am to my mileage points!), traded our Scottsdale timeshare for one in Maui and then bunked with my parents in their timeshare in Kauai. Awe-some!

I'll try not to drive you crazy with too many pictures - here is our first day in Maui.

The uneventful (thanks kids and well prepared me) flight to Maui.

Are you wondering why Taki wasn't in the background of these pics? Oh right, must be because he was in another row diagonally behind us. Don't worry - I'll remember this when we fly to Florida next May.

While we waited for the D'Angelos to join us at the timeshare we treated the kids to their first lava flows.

After touring the awesome timeshare (seriously, great location!) we spotted our first destination with the kids.

Oh yes, The Pirate Ship Pool (after she got back Katie actually mentioned the name of the timeshare to a coworker and all he said to her was "Pirate Ship Pool!")

View from the pool towards the ocean.

Olive picked her Minnie suit for the first one of the trip (this is her by the other kids pool later on that day.)

Nikos warming up after a long day of swimming in the pool...

and in the ocean...
Suit #2.
And Baby Jack lovin him some salsa.

Until tomorrow!
