A good friend of mine in Boston sent Nikos and Olive some Red Sox gear. For the first week or so after it arrived Nikos wanted nothing to do with the hat (Giants loyalty?) but now he wants to wear it all the time. It has become a favorite of his when we go out on walks and to the park. The other morning I woke up and went out to the front room and Nikos and Taki were both sitting on the couch wearing their Red Sox hats. Taki told me that Nikos "insisted" they both put them on. Bossy little guy.
On the way home from daycare.
Damn paparazzi.
I didn't get a picture of Taki in his Boston cap but here's one I dug up from after we went to Fenway in July of '06. So fun! And looove that watermelon beer I was drinking.
Back to the present...Olive, your friendly little garden gnome.
Olive, rocking the bed head. I mean, this head of hair can totally rival Suri Cruise in her first public picture.
Nikos on the "top of tuttle" at the park. If you press a button this turtle is supposed to spit water out of its mouth. Sadly, this feature only works about 25% of the time that we try it. Oh well.
And I know the quality of this picture is terrible but I had to post it anyway.
I had to take Olive in for an ultrasound to make sure she didn't have hip dysplasia. The pedi that discharged her from the hospital (who coincidentally was one of Niko's lead pedi's when he was in the NICU) always has baby girls that are breech checked for dysplasia. She was an absolute angel during the entire ultrasound, which lasted about ten minutes and we got the all clear at the end of it. Wahoo!

First of all no nephew of mine should be wearing anything but a Giants hat. Secondly there is a bar right by AT&T park that has watermelon beer, it's called 21st amendment.
