Memorial Day at the Ballpark

Sorry my blog posts are all out of order here.

On Memorial Day we were lucky enough to score great Club Level seats to the Giants game (my CEO's seats - I won them in the raffle.) The game was definitely more of a challenge than previous games, with both kids wanting to be up and moving.

Thank goodness the park is kid-friendly with lots of things to occupy the game. From the bottom of the first through the fourth inning Taki and Niko were over at the little kids field in the back of the park.

Olive and I relaxed at the seats.

She even stood up for a little while and watched the game!

Next up we tag team and Taki comes back to the seats and Nikos and I head over to the ball field.
On the way there we spotted someone giving out eye black.

Ahh - look at those lashes!

Next up we waited in the endless line for Nikos to get his turn to hit.

He was great, sat in line until his turn came up, hit a bomb (first pitch) and then ran the bases. Go Nikos!

Of course, the big downer of the kids field is that you can't see the real game at all - or even a tv screen - which kinda sucks but what can you do.

In the 8th inning we headed back to the seats to an exhausted Olive (and can you tell Nikos is asking me if we can go back and hit again?)
