Adults Night Out

On Sunday night we decided to have a night out on the town with our friends. Katie took the reins and planned dinner at Bobo's in the city. We met up with Steve and Robin, Mark and Liz and Katie and Jack for a great dinner. We shared a few cocktails/mocktails at the bar beforehand and then headed up to our table. Of course we immediately separated to a boys side of the table and a girls side of the table, because really, that's so much more fun. 

Here are the boys after dinner. Sadly, you won't see the girls group picture as Mark suggested "surprise face" and it didn't work out to well for all of us. So I made like Jeff and ate the picture. 

After dinner we decided to bar hop. First we stopped by the Horseshoe, which most of us agreed we hadn't been to since Liz's 30th birthday a few years ago. Steve suggested we go somewhere quieter and we ditched Horseshoe after one drink and headed to HiFi. Katie tried to point out to Steve that HiFi turns into a night club but Steve would have none of it. Of course, once we arrived and saw the line (and the age of the people in it) we decided to skip it for some place more age appropriate. So La Barca or Balboa? Deciding we prefer the company of cougars, we headed over to Balboa. A great night was had by all and we can't wait for the next one!
