Who knew Halloween could span so many blog posts?
Down the street from our bart station there is a great house that goes all out in decorating for Halloween. On Halloween eve Nikos and I stopped there on the way home from daycare so he could check it out. Despite the picture below, he had a great time checking out all of the decorations.
Halloween morning we drove out to Antioch to watch Mason's soccer practice. Baby O sported her Halloween best.
At soccer practice the kids played redlight-greenlight. Mason is the one in the middle of the picture with the white shirt and dark pants.
When the kids took a drink break the toddlers stormed the field.
After soccer we crashed my parents' house to carve pumpkins. Here's what happened to Olive's pumpkin after the photo shoot (separate blog to follow.) I am sure some of you will be really shocked at this turn of events.
Apparently when you aren't being forced to sit in the pumpkin, the thing itself is not half bad.
Grandparent pic with the youngest grandkids. I think Nikos is afraid of getting squished by the great pumpkin.
All the grandkids! I had to include the first one since I think this is the only group picture that Nikos has ever smiled in.
In order to snap Nikos out of his crying I suggested funny faces. Note how Nikos is watching Mason to see what he is doing while Olive is bewildered by Nikos.
