Fairyland

The Friday before Easter Mel + family joined us for a visit to Fairyland in Oakland. The park is really cute, geared towards preschool age kids and a little older. All five of the Kienzle cousins had a blast.

Olive plays in the little piggy's house made of bricks. (BTW, she could have stayed in this house all day.) "My house, my house!"

The kids hit up the ferris wheel - Olive opted to skip this one with a polite "No Tank You." Kira and Nikos shared a car and Mason and Maile shared another.

Fast merry-go-round! Poor Olive wanted to go on this one but she wasn't tall enough.

Olive, Kira and Nikos on Captain Hook's pirate ship.

Olive (and Baby) pose as Glinda the Good Witch.

Nikos the Mad Hatter.

Maile poses in the church (not sure where this one is from...?)

The cousins enjoying the Alice in Wonderland clock display.

Life imitates Art - Mel pretends to be a member of the house of cards.

The kids enjoy another merry-go-round, this one Alice in Wonderland theme.

Olive moves into another house - the Crooked house!

Olive plays house with the puppet show in the background - with a little lecturing for Baby at the end of the video. (Outfit entirely picked by Olive.)

How cute are Kira and Nikos watching the puppet show? To my surprise, Nikos was totally into it and sat still the whole time. He even talked to me about the plot later - so cute!

Mel and I on the swing with the littles.

We went over to visit the farm animals and the kids gave up some cute poses for me.

And lastly, hanging out in the little town.
